VINNIE PAUL Jams With BLACK LABEL SOCIETY In Front Of Hometown Crowd: Photos Available

April 25, 2005

According to a post at ZakkWylde.com, PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN drummer "Vinnie Paul sat in with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY one more time over the weekend in Dallas, Texas. This was the first time Vinnie has been back behind the drums in front of his hometown crowd since the tragedy. The crowd went absolutely NUTS when he stepped up behind drummer Craig Nunemacher's kit to perform 'Suicide Messiah' with the guys. An extremely long chant of 'Dimebag... Dimebag... Dimebag' went on for nearly five minutes. It was great to see our brother Vinnie smiling as he punded away on the skins. The show was sold out as majority of the tour has been. Prior to this show, Vinnie stepped up with the band in Orlando, Florida and in front of a sold out crowd of 8,000 in Boston. The band was kicking ass and taking names as usual. Some of the songs included 'Fire It Up', 'Spoke In The Wheel', 'In This River', 'Stoned n Drunk', 'Stillborn' and more. The band has just under two weeks left on this leg of the tour before it wraps up in Hollywood, California on May 5."
